Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor for a growing manufacturer in the New Orleans area. This role directs accounts payable activities, guides team members, and ensures compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Onsite work with a compensation range of $60,000–$70,000 per year. Primary responsibilities include supervising AP operations, system upgrades, and ensuring timely, accurate processing across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum two years overseeing accounts payable teams or in a supervisory AP role.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts payable department, direct daily operations across multiple sites, ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately.
• Mentor and support AP personnel, manage schedules, workloads, performance, and cross-training.
• Establish department goals, service benchmarks, and priorities for prompt invoice handling and vendor communication.
• Administer payments to vendors using checks, EFTs, wires and other digital methods.
• Address and resolve invoice, vendor questions, payment discrepancies, and outstanding balances.
