Job summary

Edelman seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the Finance Shared Services AP team in Chicago, overseeing end-to-end AP across North America and Canada. You will manage invoices, payments, and settlements in Workday, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.

You bring 4–5 years of AP experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a collaborative mindset to partner with regional and global teams, driving process improvements and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of professional experience in Accounts Payable or related finance function.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Accounts Payable team with day-to-day guidance.
• Oversee end-to-end AP processes in Workday, including invoices, credits, POs, approvals, payments, and settlements.
• Manage invoice exceptions, payment discrepancies, reconciliations, and aging to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate check runs, ACH payments, approvals, and month-end close with strong controls.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and regional teams to resolve issues.
