Under the supervision of the Corporate Director of Accounting, the Supervisor - Accounts Payable oversees the entire accounts payable department and directs staff in processing invoices and payments for USC Arcadia Hospital. Ensures only duly authorized payments are made and disbursements are timely so cash is conserved and discounts are taken.

Qualifications

• Required: 5 years experience in business with at least 1 year in accounts payable.
• Preferred: Supervisor experience and healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable department and process invoices and payments.
• Ensure payments are timely and discounts are taken.
• Maintain proper accounts payable controls and coding.
• Reconcile vendor statements and prepare GL schedules.
• Resolve problem invoices and purchase orders.
• Supervise staff and provide training and evaluation.
