Morgan Automotive Group in Tampa, FL is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role handles vendor invoices, payments, and related month-end tasks to support smooth operations at our Tampa location.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds helpful.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel basic formulas & V lookup helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor invoices for proper approvals and PO# expenses.
• Post and reconcile manufacturer invoices to monthly statements.
• Process check requests and allocate expenses.
• Maintain related schedules (sublet, advertising, factory) and notes.
• Post advertising budgets and verify invoices against budget.
• Perform monthly accruals and assist in month-end closing.
• Prepare and file 1099 forms annually.

Responsibilities:

• Review vendor invoices ensuring proper approval and or PO# expense to proper account reconcile all vendor invoices to statements for batch payment no later than 20th
• Post and reconcile Manufacturer invoices to monthly statements
• Process check requests expense accordingly
• Maintain related schedules (sublet, advertising, factory) make notes as needed
• Post advertising budgets process invoices verify to budget
• Perform monthly accruals as needed
• Assist in month-end closing duties
• Prepare and file 1099 forms annually
