Webco Industries, Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments within a manufacturing environment.

You will reconcile accounts, maintain AP files, and collaborate with purchasing, quality management, and other departments to resolve discrepancies while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with SAP and Excel, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP.
• Ability to multi-task, analyze, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Post invoices for payment, including raw materials, MRO, check requests, CAPEX, freight, utilities, and credit cards.
• Review open items before weekly check runs to identify posting errors.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to investigate and correct invoice issues.
• Maintain accurate Accounts Payable files, including deposits, check copies, back-up, and batch lists.
• Reconcile vendor statements and monitor outstanding accruals.
• Provide accurate costing information to Quality Management and other departments as needed.
• Monitor freight rates billed by suppliers and collaborate with Purchasing on discrepancies.
• Participate in training new team members and ensure effectiveness of procedures.
