Job summary

A leading convenience store operator in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. You will manage all accounts payable functions, including vendor reconciliations and ensuring accurate expense coding. The ideal candidate should have retail experience and strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel. Qualifications

• One to three years of experience, preferably with a background in retail.
• Excellent organizational, written, and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills, most importantly with MS Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain all accounts payable.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and related transactions.
• Act as liaison to investigate discrepancies and ensure proper coding.
• Process weekly check and EFT payments to vendors.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
• Work with Controller to ensure clean and timely year-end audit.
