eStaffNY is seeking an Accounts Payable Consultant to manage all aspects of the AP function within our corporate finance team in Greenwich, CT. This role focuses on accurate invoicing, timely payments, and strong controls.

You will process invoices, maintain vendor records, handle expense reports, and assist with month‑end close while ensuring SOX compliance and tax documentation. The position offers flexible work-from-home options and a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review, code, and process invoices with approvals.
• Vendor Management: Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments.
• Expense Reporting: Process employee expense reports and reconcile receipts.
• Payments Processing: Prepare and process payments via checks, ACH, and wires with proper approvals.
• Month-End Close: Reconcile AP sub-ledger to GL, prepare accruals and 1099 prep.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure SOX compliance and assist audits; regulate tax documentation.
• Process Improvement: Streamline AP processes and implement automation where appropriate.
• Training and Support: Train staff on AP processes and systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with procurement, treasury and accounting to resolve issues.
