Qualifications

• 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and AP processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests accurately and on time
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain organized AP records and documentation for auditing
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to code construction expenses
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Assist with month-end close processes, including AP aging and reconciliations
• Communicate professionally with vendors and subcontractors regarding payment status
