Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support controls, travel and expense audits, and process improvements in a hybrid Orlando office. You will work with internal teams and external partners to enforce SOX requirements, maintain SOPs, and resolve issues promptly.

The role requires 3 years in accounting/auditing, experience with Travel & Entertainment policies, proficient Excel, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Work Schedule: Hybrid: Mon-Wed in Office, Thurs-Fri Work From Home.
• Required Experience: Travel & Expense, Auditing Expense Reports, Concur, Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 years of experience in accounting and auditing.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new procedures to enhance workflow and process improvements, including SOP maintenance.
• Enforce internal controls and SOX requirements to prevent fraud and report discrepancies to management.
• Manage time effectively and work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Research and resolve issues efficiently.
• Respond promptly and accurately to help desk inquiries and assist with resolving aged items.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to conduct routine audits.
• Maintain confidentiality during investigative audits.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Accounts Payable Shared Services Manager.
