Job summary

SHEARER SUPPLY, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to maintain procedures and controls in payables while delivering strong customer service. You will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and handle daily AP tasks, data entry, and vendor communications.

The role requires accurate GL coding, ERP experience (Concur & DDI Financials), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. This position is on-site in Farmers Branch, TX.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Combination of education and experience equal to at least 3 years of full cycle Accounts Payable processing.
• Experience with ERP applications such as Concur & DDI Financials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Google Suite.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices timely and accurately with appropriate general ledger coding.
• Assign general ledger account codes to vendor invoices.
• Review incoming documents, batching, scanning, and data entry.
• Manage AP inbox and communicate with vendors and internal expense owners to resolve issues.
• Research inquiries from customers and provide accurate data.
• Maintain internal controls, especially over bank account updates.
• Back-up to other AP specialists and participate in special projects.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Excel capabilities.
