Job summary

L&F Distributors, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to ensure accurate processing of vendor invoices, timely payments, and clear communication with suppliers.

The role requires strong attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and collaboration with procurement and receiving to maintain clean ledgers and supporting month-end close.

Experience in an accounting environment and knowledge of basic accounting principles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or related role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and records.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports.
• Ensure proper approvals and documentation are obtained before processing payments.
• Maintain records of accounts payable transactions, including filing and confirmations.
• Schedule and prepare payments (checks, ACH, wire) per company policy.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and ensure accurate posting of payments.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice/payments discrepancies.
