Job summary

Lykos Energy, LLC is hiring an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist for our West Fargo, ND office. The role focuses on processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include handling high-volume inquiries, month-end close assistance, reconciling statements, and collaborating with staff on invoice entries. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have basic to advanced accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry in accounting systems.
• Experience with vendor communications and month-end close is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high volume of inquiries regarding the status and other payment information
• Correspond with vendors, respond to inquiries, and produce monthly reports
• Assist with month end close
• Reconcile monthly statements to ensure all outstanding invoices have been received and entered
• Work closely with employees on invoice entries
• Assist with other areas of the Accounting Department
• Showcase excellent customer service for both internal and external customers
• Ensure accuracy of accounts payable related to general ledger accounts
• Adhere to tax regulations, such as sales/use tax and 1099 reporting requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Other duties as assigned
