Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily invoicing, payments, and reconciliations. The role collaborates with branch teams and vendors to maintain accurate records and timely processing in a fast-paced environment.

This in-office position offers comprehensive benefits, competitive pay of $26.00–$29.00 per hour, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements and month-end closes. Monday–Friday schedule with 40 hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• 3–5 years of AP, invoice processing or accounting support preferred.
• Proficient in Excel with experience in an ERP system (JD Edwards preferred).
• Strong understanding of AP processes, data entry and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices from receipt through posting with verification and issue resolution.
• Handle daily AP operations including reconciliations and payments.
• Assist with month-end close and a/p-related month-end tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices and vendor communications.
• Collaborate with branches and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Support process improvements within the AP department.
