Job summary

Grand River Energy Center in Oklahoma seeks an Accounting Assistant II to provide accounting and administrative support within the Accounts Payable function. You will process invoices, perform 3-way matching, analyze discrepancies, and support reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in AP or accounting, an Associate's degree in accounting, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Three (3) years of accounts payable, accounting or related financial experience.
Associate’s degree in accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state license that are an Oklahoma resident.

Responsibilities

Process invoices for payment, including 3-way matching with receipts and purchase orders.
Analyze and review invoices for errors, including terms, missing signatures, account coding, and missing documents.
Ensure timely payments using due dates and payment terms.
Enter electronic payments into banking system.
Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger.
Prepare monthly reports for board meetings and ad hoc reports as needed.
Work with internal customers and vendors to answer questions and solve problems.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
