This position assists with processing invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial records, researching and resolving discrepancies, and supporting account reconciliations.Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:Responsible for processing invoices for payment, including 3-way matching with receipts and purchase ordersAnalyzes and reviews invoices for errors, including terms, missing signatures, account coding, and missing documentsResponsible for the timeliness of payments using due dates and payment termsEnters electronic payments into banking systemReconciles accounts payable trade account to the general ledgerPrepares monthly reports for the board meetings, and ad hoc reports as neededWorks with internal customers and vendors to answer questions and solve problemsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedSkills, Knowledge, Qualities:Demonstrated analytical skills, critical thinking, risk detection, and big-picture mindset; combined with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the AuthorityProficient in MS Office, with emphasis in ExcelAttention to detailExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP platform preferredExperience with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Title 18 Chart of Accounts preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal abilities with outstanding customer service techniques allowing for development of strong business relationshipsEducation, Training Experience:Three (3) years of accounts payable, accounting or related financial experience.Associate’s degree in accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Registrations, Licenses:Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state driver’s license that are an Oklahoma resident.Physical/Mental Requirements & Working Conditions:Work is performed in an office settingMinimal day travel required, with overnight travel limited to attending training and conferences.Other information:Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualificationsHighly-competitive benefits packagePosition is located at the Grand River Energy Center in Chouteau, OklahomaMinimal day travel required, with overnight travel limited to attending training and conferencesIf you’re passionate about growth, teamwork, and making an impact, you’ll love building your career with us.
