Western States Equipment Company in Idaho is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage invoice processing, vendor inquiries, and internal approvals. You will work with multiple departments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with controls within a dynamic construction and equipment services environment.

The role requires solid accounting basics, ability to learn ERP systems, and strong communication skills to support a collaborative accounting team.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year general accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting software preferred.
• ERP software experience preferred.
• Strong communication both written and verbal required.

Responsabilidades

• Works directly with vendors requesting invoice copies as needed.
• Works with internal departments to obtain required approvals and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Reviews invoices for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate supporting documentation prior to processing.
• Performs accounts payable duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Reviews accounts and data for accuracy.
• Resolves vendor invoice inquiries verbally, in writing or other communication as needed.
• Supports accounting department staff as needed.
• Adheres to all customer care standards.
• Actively cares and advocates safety at Western States. Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards.
• Serves as a team member in support of Western States’ strategic programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
