Job summary

Dashiell Corporation, a unit of Quanta Services, seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage day-to-day AP transactions from our Houston office. You will maintain vendor accounts, code invoices, reconcile statements, process disbursements, and support month-end close.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and timeliness.
• Effective written and verbal communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Distribute invoices for approval to appropriate associates.
• Prepare invoices for data entry and GL coding.
• Review invoices for documentation and approvals.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding issues.
• Process disbursements, checks, wires, and positive pay uploads.
• Maintain vendor files and reconcile statements.
• Assist with month-end close and audit documentation.
