Job summary

Triage Partners, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Florida. You will handle high volumes of invoices, ensure accuracy, and support month-end close with a focus on internal controls and vendor relationships.

The role requires 2–5 years of AP experience, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of accounts payable or a similar accounting/finance role.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and the broader Office suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high transaction volumes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional interaction.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices, including three-way matching, coding, and routing for approval.
• Review invoices for accuracy and documentation, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Assist in preparing weekly payment runs via check, ACH, and wire transfer.
• Oversee vendor master file setup, W-9 collection, and 1099 classification.
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records of invoices and approvals.
• Support annual 1099 preparation and respond to external audits as needed.
