Job summary

Delicato Family Wines in Manteca, CA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume invoice processing and vendor communications. You will perform 3-way matching, coordinate with procurement, and ensure timely payments via ACH, wires, and checks, while supporting month-end close.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting with accounts payable and GL work, strong Excel and ERP/SAP proficiency, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of accounting and/or business experience, including accounts payable, general ledger and account analysis.
• College courses in accounting or related field may be counted towards business experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Reviews invoices and compares to purchase orders and receiving documents (3 way match).
• Reconciles vendor statements and resolves discrepancies on discounts, errors, late payments.
• Leads weekly check disbursement runs and coordinates check signing schedule exceptions.
• Processes electronic payments including ACH, Wires and Credit Card.
• Assists in month end close with accrual and expense analysis.
• Provides supporting documentation for audits.
