Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance team at the Appleton Store Support Center. This role handles vendor payments, deductions, credits, and invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

You’ll work with Fleet Farm supplier accounts, investigate discrepancies, and support month-end activities. Two weeks of side-by-side training and opportunities to cross-train in other finance areas are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Accounts Payable or related experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills with reports and data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile a large volume of vendor accounts.
• Process vendor payments, deductions, credits, and invoices.
• Review supplier agreements and return/defective merchandise policies.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve vendor account issues.
• Communicate with Fleet Farm stores and suppliers to gather information.
• Process daily check deposits and reconcile transactions.
• Use Excel to organize data and run reports.
• Support month-end responsibilities and cross-train in other areas.
