Edward Rose & Sons in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking an Accounting Specialist - Accounts Payable to support multiple apartment communities. You will process invoices, verify charges against quotes and contracts, and collaborate with Property Managers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year accounting/finance experience or a degree in accounting/finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Verify that charges on invoices match pricing quotes and contracts.
• Process invoices for several apartment communities in a timely manner, using Yardi software.
• Balance statements for specified apartment communities.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Communicate with Property Managers to resolve discrepancies and/or other problems.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
