Job summary

Pluckers Wing Bar in Austin, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our corporate accounting team. This hands-on role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and VP of Accounting & Finance and supports high-volume processing in our growing restaurant chain.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, at least 2 years of AP experience, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize data efficiently.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly check requests, expense reports, and vendor invoices.
• Process weekly check runs.
• Monitor AP inbox and incoming correspondence.
• Follow up on past due invoices and vendor inquiries.
• Maintain vendor statements and AP reports.
