Job summary

Pluckers Wing Bar is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed asset tracking in our Austin corporate office. This hands-on role reports to the VP of Accounting & Finance and involves collaboration on accounting and finance processes.

The ideal candidate has a 1–2 year background in full-cycle accounting in a multi-unit retail/restaurant setting, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience in a retail/restaurant environment preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger), preferably in a multi-unit retail/restaurant environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to organize data efficiently.
• Ability to multi-task, adhere to tight deadlines and be self-disciplined.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

We are looking for a dynamic Staff Accountant. This position will work closely with and report directly to the VP of Accounting & Finance. This position is a very hands‑on position that will play an important role in the accounting and finance process.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 /yr depending on experience.
