Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, college hours preferred.
• Understanding of accounts receivable terminology and procedures.
• MUNIS accounting software experience is highly desired, but not required.
• Electronic communication and public relations skills.
• Proficient computer skills, 10-key by touch calculator, and data entry.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Input and submit multiple vendor invoices for payment against purchase orders.
• Research payment inquiries and vendor statements showing unpaid invoices.
• Resolve payment issues with vendors and district personnel.
• Prepare and review journal entries for department transactions.
• Monitor budget codes and ensure compliance with policies.
• Scan invoices and documents to support full-cycle accounts payable.
• Coordinate with departments on procurement and invoicing needs.
• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple vendors.
