Katy ISD seeks a Specialist to coordinate and manage payroll for Transportation drivers and staff. The role requires careful timekeeping, accurate record-keeping, and timely processing of payroll adjustments and leave requests.

You will support coaches and staff with trip documentation, uphold confidentiality of sensitive information, and ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• College hours preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Accounting experience preferred; CDL with endorsements may be required.
• School bus driver certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist in semi-monthly payroll cycles, balancing hours, pay, and deductions.
• Process pay adjustments for drivers and staff and handle schedule changes.
• Serve as point of contact for absence and timekeeping systems; ensure accuracy.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding entries in the district timekeeping system.
• Maintain payroll files and assist with payroll paperwork and deductions.
