Uber Freight is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage multiple vendor accounts and support accurate, timely payment processing. The role handles high-volume invoice submissions, validates rates and billing details, and performs true-ups and reconciliations across multiple systems to ensure payments are processed correctly and on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and documentation skills.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment with departmental goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities for multiple vendor accounts.
• Review, enter, and process a high volume of invoices accurately and promptly.
• Validate invoice rates, pricing, and billing terms against contracts/POs/SOWs.
• Perform true-ups, reconciliations, and adjustments to ensure billing accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal partners, procurement, finance, and vendors for approvals and exceptions.
• Process transactions across systems to support end-to-end vendor payments.
• Monitor payment schedules to ensure on-time payments.
• Maintain records, documentation, and audit trails for all AP activity.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to policies, controls, and financial compliance requirements.
