Job summary

Hillandale Farms Gettysburg is hiring for an Entry Level Accountant. The Entry Level Accountant will help Accounts Payable tasks and associated reports and accounting entries.

The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in general accounting, as well as with accounts payable or accounts receivable experience. They will be an integral part of the team in supporting our daily process and routines.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Assist the team process accounts payables.
• Collect and record daily data.
• Assist with accounts receivables.
• Prepare journal entries when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
