Job summary

Lifestyle Communities (LC) is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for their Finance/Accounting team in Columbus, Ohio. The role supports accounts payable, general ledger, and job cost activities to assist management operations.

You will analyze AP transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies, with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and vendor communications. This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years AP experience.
• Knowledge of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Ability to analyze accounts payable transactions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger and prepares management reports.
• Analyses and resolves discrepancies in billings and payments.
• Assists with monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
• Assists with coding and entering invoices and payables into accounting system.
• Prints cash requirements reports on a weekly basis.
• Maintains continuous improvement mindset to improve AP efficiency.
• Communicates with Accounting Supervisor to address delays.
• Matches checks with invoices weekly.
• Tracks invoices for approval.
