Job summary

The role reports to the AP Manager and requires flexibility for overtime. Prior experience in a professional service setting and proficiency with AP software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of high-volume accounts payable or general accounting experience in legal or professional service industry preferred.
• Experience with firm policies and vendor master data management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sets up new vendors and maintains vendor master data in accordance with firm policies.
• Verifies accuracy of vendor invoices, allocates to GL accounts, and submits for approval.
• Maintains organized vendor documentation for 1099 compliance.
• Processes vendor invoices, credit memos, and refunds and ensures timely approvals.
• Creates and manages payment schedules and issues payments via check, ACH, and wire.
• Maintains organized records for payment confirmations.
