Job summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our North Carolina finance team. You will process vendor invoices, issue wire transfers, and support intercompany transactions in a busy environment.

You will maintain vendor records, assist with month-end close, and help ensure SOX compliance while delivering accurate reconciliations and timely payments to support our global operations. Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2 years of related experience.
• Experience handling vendor invoices and payables.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wire transfers for offshore vendors.
• Process vendor invoices, wire transfers, and intercompany payables.
• Assist with three-way matching and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor master data and supporting documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries about payment status and invoices.
• Support month-end close and SOX documentation requirements.
• Prepare account reconciliations monthly for data accuracy.
