Job summary

Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate for its Shared Services team in Bethlehem, PA, to manage end-to-end AP support for MTI U.S. and Canadian plants. You will enter invoices, verify approvals, and resolve payment issues across North American locations.

The role requires 3+ years in AP, strong Excel/Word skills, and experience with electronic matching systems. Travel is infrequent and a collaborative, process-driven environment is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an accounting/AP environment.
• Experience with an electronic matching system preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; ability to troubleshoot invoice issues.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of a high volume of invoices quickly and accurately.
• Invoice approval, ASL verification, and routing invoices for additional approval when necessary.
• Handle payment exceptions and understand Procure to Pay processes.
• Process payments for North American locations.
• Collaborate with PTP and RTR teams for issue resolution.
• Support month-end close and audit requests.
