Job summary

IMCD Group in Westlake, OH seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the accounts payable cycle, ensure invoices are entered correctly and paid on time, and support cashflow. The AP Specialist will use JD Edwards and report to the Assistant Controller for IMCD US.

This position operates on a hybrid schedule, combining in-office and remote work. A High School Diploma is required, with an Associate Degree in Accounting preferred; prior AP experience is a plus.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will handle the accounts payable for the organization. This role will make sure that bills are accurate and paid on time and that any invoices are received and authorized. This position is critical to the health of the company as it impacts on the budget and cashflow. The AP Specialist will report directly to the Assistant Controller for the IMCD US organization.

This position is required to sit in the Westlake, Ohio office.

Successful candidates will be responsible to:

• Perform the full cycle of Accounts Payable
• Enter invoices into JD Edwards while ensuring proper approval
• Process payments to vendor within terms
• Communicate with vendors about payment for their services
• Track expenses in a general ledger
• Collect expense reports and purchase orders from other departments
• Reconcile all outstanding debts

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.
