As part of a passionate and accomplished team of experts, our Accounts Payable Specialist will process invoices for various spaceflight systems and support functions. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of AP invoice processing. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices into accounting systems
• Work collaboratively with Procurement, Receiving and suppliers
• Resolve invoicing issues and discrepancies
• Reconcile supplier statements and accounts
• Manage JIRA Ticketing Systems
• Handle mail and email correspondence
• Assist with various other payables functions as assigned
  
  

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or similar field or equivalent professional experience
• 2-5 years payables processing experience to include enterprise level, high volume payables
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Basic understanding of payables impact to the GL and financial statements
• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with various internal levels and departments
• Comfortable with a fast paced and often ambiguous work environment
  
  

Desired Experience:

• Experience with Coupa, Costpoint, Cognos, Concur, Exostar, IFS Cloud and/or Analytics
