A leading company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a fully remote position. This entry-level role involves managing company bills, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial dealings. Description
Looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for helping with all internal pay. Will be managing and processing the company's bills and expenses, as well as ensuring all payments are good to be met on time and accurately. It is important to note that this role will be doing the same tasks over and over again, which some might consider mundane. Position is more entry-level, they don't want someone with a ton of experience or they could get bored.
Duties and responsibilities:
-Check invoices for accuracy and completeness
-Process invoices: sort, code, and match invoices, set them up for payment, and enter/upload them into the system.
-Payment processing: prepare and process accounts payable checks.
-Reconciliation: monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
-Reporting: produce reports.
-Expense tracking
-Issue resolution
Skills & Qualifications
-Experience in accounts payables
-Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
-Excel skills (intermediate)
-MS office suite
-High attention to detail
-Comfortable doing repetitive tasks
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
