About the Opportunity: The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Senior Accountant and supports the Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay processes, the corporate credit card program, and cash handling, along with other duties as assigned. Training will be provided to serve as a backup for Accounts Receivable and Payroll processing.

This position is based in San Francisco, CA, requiring onsite work 2-3 times per week. Candidates must be able to work onsite and have up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination, subject to legal exemptions. This role is part of a bargaining unit with Cal Academy Workers United.
About the (Business Finance/Accounting) Team: The role is within the Accounting department, supporting timely processing of payables to enable effective expense and budget management.

Other Duties: Serve as backup for Accounts Receivable and Payroll after training, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: Candidates should have at least 3 years of Accounts Payable experience, an associate degree preferred, and proficiency in Excel. Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, teamwork, and a commitment to equity are essential.
Physical Environment: Must be able to perform essential duties; accommodations available if needed.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary range $75,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits are included.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week.
