Job summary

Rothman Orthopaedics in Center City, Philadelphia is seeking a full time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite per week at our Center City office and offers competitive pay.

You will process vendor invoices, code expenses, prepare weekly payments, and support month-end close while ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls. Prior Intaact or accounting software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED minimum education requirement.
• Five (5) years related experience required.
• Sales & Use Tax Filing, Unclaimed Property Filing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles required.
• Computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Intaact Accounting software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and codes vendor invoices and check requests, matches PO to invoices, ensures proper documentation.
• Prepares weekly check runs for payments to vendors.
• Reviews general ledger accounts for month end preparation.
• Prepares AP financials for each month by reviewing the check register, wire transactions, and deposits.
• Updates cash flow book as necessary.
• Makes deposits for incoming checks.
• Prepares data for monthly sales and use tax filing for Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Reconciles outstanding checks and files unclaimed property reports.
• Organizes records for all purchases on company credit cards.
• Keeps record of all existing leases and ensures items are billed.
• Requests bids from companies for pricing of goods and services.
• Performs weekly filing of documentation.

Rothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a full time Accounts Payable Specialist based in our Center City Philadelphia office! This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days of work onsite each week.

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist processes all invoices and ensures prompt payments are made, in addition to performing clerical work and preparing special projects as needed.

Key Accountabilities

Timely and accurate completion of weekly and monthly job responsibilities.

Essential Duties

• Processes and codes all vendor invoices and check requests, matches approved purchase orders to vendor invoices, and ensures all check requests contain proper documentation.
• Prepares weekly check runs for payments to vendors.
