Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Our client is aprivate equity firm. They seek an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP processes and ensure that all disbursements comply with firm policies
• Prepare intercompany and affiliate invoices and ensure receivables are current
• Review daily cash activity, record cash receipts, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Support the monthly and year-end close processes and record journal entries
• Maintain relationships with vendors, update vendor records, and prepare 1099s annually
• Responsible for employee reimbursements and the firm’s corporate card program
• Develop expertise in firm-used systems (NetSuite and Concur, with potential for additions)
• Support the management company team on key projects, analysis, and ad hoc requests
• Collaborate with external support teams and consultants on system enhancements
• Assist with preparing monthly financial analysis reports

Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Very dependable and takes ownership of tasks
• Comfortable working on a small team and taking direction
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized with keen attention to detail
• Able to effectively build relationships with co-workers
• Proven ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
• Skilled in MS Office Suite, NetSuite, and Concur
