Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an in-office role in Greenwood Village, CO. The ideal candidate will manage high-volume AP in NetSuite, perform three-way matching, code invoices accurately, and process weekly payments including international transfers.

Requirements include 2+ years of full-cycle AP, NetSuite experience preferred, strong Excel skills, and an accounting degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle, high-volume AP processing experience.
• Prior NetSuite experience highly preferred.
• Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formula creation.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Process 200+ vendor invoices per week in NetSuite, from receipt through payment.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices to POs and receiving docs.
• Code invoices to the correct GL accounts, departments and cost centers.
• Verify approvals and ensure invoices comply with policy and authorization requirements.
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs (ACH, check, wire).
• Prepare and process international wire transfers in line with controls.
• Verify FX rates and amounts prior to payment release.
• Confirm vendor banking details and validate wire instructions to prevent errors and fraud.
• Reconcile foreign currency payments and variances.
• Set up and maintain vendor records, including W-9/W-8 collection.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support 1099 reporting and audit-ready documentation.

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Greenwood Village, CO (in-office)

Salary: $60,000 - $68,000 / Annually DOE

Responsibilities:

• Process 200+ vendor invoices per week in NetSuite, from receipt through payment
• Perform three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Code invoices accurately to the appropriate GL accounts, departments, and/or cost centers
• Verify approvals and ensure invoices comply with company policy and authorization requirements
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs (ACH, check, and wire)
• Prepare and process international wire transfers in accordance with company controls
• Verify foreign currency exchange rates and amounts prior to payment release
• Confirm vendor banking details and validate wire instructions to help prevent payment errors and fraud
• Reconcile foreign currency payments and research variances or exchange rate differences
• Set up and maintain vendor records, including W-9/W-8 collection and verification
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support 1099 reporting and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Research and resolve matching exceptions, pricing variances, and invoice discrepancies
• Perform AP subledger reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities
• Review AP aging reports and flag past-due or at-risk items
• Support internal and external audit requests as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve AP workflows and efficiency
