Job summary

Meissner is seeking a self-motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic AP team at the Camarillo, CA headquarters. You will review, post AP invoices, assist in vendor payments, and support month-end close while upholding GAAP and accuracy.

This on-site role offers career growth within a company that manufactures lifesaving drugs and supports employees with strong benefits and development programs. Prior AP experience and knowledge of D365 are a plus.

Qualifications

• AA or BA Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in a similar position (Accounts Payable Clerk, Bookkeeping, etc.).
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
• Knowledge of ERP systems usage; Microsoft D365 a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, enter, post AP invoices to appropriate GL account into accounting software.
• Assist in weekly vendor payment schedules.
• Assist in reviewing purchase requisitions.
• Assist in month-end close and related duties.
• Support Financial Audit requests.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
