Job summary

Cadence Petroleum Group is a fast growing distributor of automotive, commercial, and industrial lubricants serving the eastern and central United States. The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the finance and accounts payable process, handling invoice processing and document flow in a multi-functional, fast-paced office.

The role requires solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), good communication and organizational skills, and a self-motivated approach.

Qualifications

• Accounting, Business or Finance degree preferred, or 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience with a paperless environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Word.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Need to be self-motivated to complete daily assigned tasks.
• Ability to do some travel for training, tasks and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Process various types of accounts payable transactions including invoice processing, electronic payments, and online transactions.
• Process a high volume of incoming documents daily.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
• Verify approvals on documents.
• Respond to vendor inquiries by phone or email.
• Able to work in a multi-functional fast paced office.

Overview:Cadence Petroleum Group is a fast growing automotive, commercial and industrial lubricant distributor in the southeast United States. Cadence is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist who will provide support to the finance and accounts payable process.

Requirements:

• Accounting, Business or Finance degree preferred, or 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
