Select Medical is seeking a detail-oriented Level II Accounts Payable Representative to support our Supplier Maintenance Team at the Mechanicsburg, PA campus. This on-site role focuses on accurate supplier setup, invoice processing, and compliant payment execution in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of high-volume AP experience, strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills, and familiarity with Oracle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in high-volume processing environment preferred.
• Experience with W-9s/W-8s is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Word) and Oracle accounting software.
• Ability to create suppliers using Oracle supplier creation module.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and modify suppliers and handle invoices and payments in the AP system.
• Perform supplier setups and maintenance in line with policy and IRS requirements.
• Manage IRS documentation (W-9, W-8) and ensure compliance.
• Process direct deposit and electronic payment requests timely.
• Audit supplier entries for accuracy and completeness; support special projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Position responsible for accurately establishing and modifying suppliers, electronic and direct deposit invoices, and payments through the Select Medical accounts payable system. Accurately perform set-up functions related to the efficient set-up and maintenance of suppliers in accordance with Select Medical policy and IRS requirements.

• Precise entry or modification of all supplier information into the accounts payable supplier creation module. Set up and update large volumes of suppliers within agreed-upon terms. Ensure accuracy of supplier information, obtain appropriate documentation required, and send for Compliance review (BAA, SAM, and OIG) to establish a supplier in accordance with Select Medical Policies and IRS requirements. Attach documents to the supplier record.
• Perform supplier set‑ups via upload on a daily basis.
• Ensure proper IRS documentation is obtained to adhere to policies and procedures and IRS regulations (W-9 and W-8 forms, etc.).
• Audit supplier set‑ups for accuracy of entry and completeness of information provided and required set‑up specifications.
• Set up suppliers’ electronic payments and employee direct deposit requests on time and in accordance with SLA’s. Prepare Direct Deposit and Electronic Requests for scanning and save supporting documents to the appropriate file.
• Research supplier inquiries and discrepancies. Flag any unusual or questionable suppliers.
• Support special projects and undertake other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume processing environment.
• Experience with obtaining W-9’s, W-8’s a plus.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and awareness to remain confidential.
• PC knowledge – Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook (or equivalent), and Word knowledge/skills. Experience with accounting software (Oracle). Ability to create suppliers using the Oracle supplier creation module.
• Basic Math Skills.
• Critical thinking abilities and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and possess a personal sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a multi-subsidiary operating structure environment is a plus.
• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience, with Supplier Maintenance experience a plus.
