Qualifications

• Two years experience in accounting, including significant accounts payable.
• Accuracy by touch on ten-key calculator.
• Minimum typing 40 wpm preferred.
• Proficient in Windows, Excel and personal computer based word processor software.
• Associates degree in Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input and process invoices accurately.
• Reconcile invoices to purchase orders; take advantage of vendor discounts when appropriate.
• Process checks (including manual checks) and disburse according to policy.
• Create and track monthly A/R invoices to outside entities as needed, and follow-up and proper coding of received payments.
• Obtain necessary W-9's and issue 1099's at year-end for appropriate vendors.
