Job summary

Casey’s is seeking an Accounting Specialist to handle invoicing and related accounting duties. You will process invoices, assist with reconciliations, and perform three-way matching to ensure accuracy.

The role also includes AR activities, vendor collections, and other duties as assigned. Strong Excel/Word skills and a basic accounting background are required. We offer competitive pay and benefits as part of Casey’s team.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting theory.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices through data entry into payables systems, including verification of appropriate account segments and delegation of authority.
• Assist with account and statement reconciliations for vendors as needed.
• Performs three-way match verifying bill of lading, purchase order and invoices all match.
• Performs accounts receivable functions, including invoice billing and recognition of income as needed.
• Performs collection of outstanding balances from vendors as they age.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
