Job summary

Unicell Body Co. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume invoice processing in a manufacturing setting. You will match invoices to purchase orders, verify receiving records, and use Infor SyteLine to maintain accurate vendor balances.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, Operations and Accounting to resolve issues quickly are essential.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of accounts payable experience with PO-based invoicing.
• Experience processing many invoices using an integrated ERP system.
• Understanding of GL coding, vendor reconciliations, credit memos, prepayments, and month-end AP procedures.
• Proficient in Excel with ability to reconcile reports.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and resolve discrepancies.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing and three-way matching against POs and receiving records.
• Accurate coding of invoices to GL accounts and site codes.
• Investigate discrepancies, follow up with vendors and internal teams.
• Process vendor credits, returns, deposits and prepayments.
• Prepare check runs, ACH payments and other electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP subledger to GL.
• Support month-end close and accruals; review received-but-not-invoiced items.
• Maintain vendor records and W-9 documentation; assist with 1099 reporting.
• Uphold internal controls and prevent duplicate payments.
