Job summary

Ghai Management Services, Inc. (GMSI) seeks an Accounts Payable Operations Manager in Livermore, CA to lead AP across a multi-entity restaurant organization. The role reports to the Operations Controller and requires hands-on leadership in coding, allocations, accruals, and timely vendor payments.

The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, manage outsourced partners, and ensure accuracy in month-end close while supporting acquisitions and store openings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Experience coordinating with outsourced accounting teams or providers.
• Restaurant/retail multi-location experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced accounting coordination with the company’s partner.
• Manage day-to-day AP operations across multiple concepts and entities.
• Coordinate weekly payment processing activities (checks, ACH, etc.).
• Ensure accurate vendor invoices and onboarding processes.
• Monitor vendor compliance and relationship health.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and coding questions.
• Drive process improvements and technology-enabled automation in AP.
• Support month-end close and related accounting activities.
• Assist with audits and financial reporting related to AP.
