Job summary

Lion Real Estate Group seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead AP operations across multifamily assets and corporate entities. This hands-on leader will supervise staff, optimize processes, and ensure accurate invoice coding and timely payments.

You will partner with property management and treasury teams to improve cash flow, coordinate investor distributions, and implement critical systems such as Zoho Desk and VendorShield in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, preferably in property accounting or accounts payable operations.
• Experience with residential multifamily real estate preferred.
• Experience supervising or coordinating accounting or accounts payable teams preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with real estate accounting software (e.g., Yardi Voyager).
• Experience with PayScan is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage accounts payable operations across entities and properties.
• Lead and develop accounts payable staff, including internal and outsourced team members.
• Code and approve invoices for corporate entities, investment funds, and properties.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Process property-related reimbursements and corporate billbacks.
• Ensure timely payment of property management and construction fees.
• Collaborate with property management on system trainings, including PayScan.
