Responsibilities include reviewing reconciliations, promoting process improvements, coordinating 1099s, and supporting audits. A college degree in accounting and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to multi-task effectively while upholding deadlines.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP team and delegate workload; review work as needed.
• Manage vendor payments via ACH, wire, and/or checks.
• Daily review of AP voucher distributions for coding accuracy.
• Review monthly vendor reconciliations.
• Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures.
• Approve and process weekly employee expenses via Emburse.
• Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and produce key metrics.
• Compile AP information for financial analysis.
• Represent the AP department in company meetings.
• Prepare and deliver year-end 1099 forms.
• Interact with other sub-units to resolve AP process issues.
• Assist with audits and related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
