Job summary

Golden Hippo is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP team, manage month-end close, and improve cross-functional policies. You will ensure three-way matching, accurate ledger entries, and timely payments, driving efficiency across the Accounting and Finance team.

The role requires 5+ years of AP management, strong ERP skills (NetSuite), and proficiency in Excel. Hybrid work in Woodland Hills, CA with competitive salary and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable management and month-end close experience.
• Extensive knowledge of accounts payable procedures and ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar large ERP systems.
• Experience with accounts payable automation software (Tipalti) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AP operations and monthly close with a service-oriented mindset.
• Ensure invoices/payments follow terms, with accuracy and discounts when possible.
• Review coding and allocations for AP invoices and credit card expenses.
• Prepare and review AP-related general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain vendor statements and respond to invoicing discrepancies.
• Assist with audits and documentation for SOX/compliance.
