Job summary

ChemTreat, Inc. seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function in Glen Allen, MO. You will own end-to-end AP operations, strengthen controls, and enhance vendor experience while supervising a team of five.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least six years of finance/accounting experience, including leadership roles. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of finance/accounting experience with progressive AP responsibilities.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in hiring, developing, and coaching teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, large data sets).
• Experience with large ERP Accounts Payable systems; 1099 filing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 direct reports.
• Ensure timely processing of electronic disbursements and checks.
• Oversee month-end close activities including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain internal controls, SOX compliance, and segregation of duties.
• Monitor and report AP performance metrics.
