Job summary

Minnesota Cannabis Services in Edina, MN seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to own the payables function end-to-end. You will run AP, train and support a team of specialists, and ensure accurate vendor records with strong controls.

Office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central, Monday through Friday, on-site in Edina. Ideal candidate has 5+ years AP experience with 2+ years supervising staff, multi-entity experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience with 2+ years supervising AP staff.
• Experience in multi-entity or multi-location AP environments.
• Hands-on vendor setup, verification, and payment processing.
• Knowledge of three-way matching and approval workflows.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or comparable platforms and advanced Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the payables function end-to-end, including coding, approvals, and payments.
• Manage and coach a 2-3 person Accounts Payable team, setting procedures and expectations.
• Maintain vendor records, onboarding, verification, and bank detail changes.
• Oversee fraud controls, separation of duties, and monthly reconciliations.
• Ensure timely payment runs and that payments match approvals.
